The completion of SMP-Project 2023 marked the fourth Erasmus+ mobility project successfully implemented by ESCP Europe Wirtschaftshochschule e.V. (hereinafter “ESCP”). The implementation of this mobility project has significantly contributed towards the advancement of ESCP’s institutional internationalisation strategy by enabling international experience through valuable financial support for students undertaking traineeships abroad in EU partner countries. Promoting and facilitating international internship opportunities, ESCP sought to strengthen the professional development and employability as well as international exchange and personal development of its students. The project’s objectives were achieved through: • providing opportunities to gain relevant, hands-on professional experience in an international context as an integrated component of their curriculum; • exposing participants to diverse organizational cultures, work practices, and professional environments within the European context; • supporting the further development of foreign language proficiency as well as transversal and digital skills aligned with students’ academic disciplines; • fostering teamwork and collaboration within international and intercultural settings; • enhancing personal and professional growth through exposure to different working methods, cultural perspectives, and approaches; • preparing students for the European labour market and business environment by equipping them with appropriate theoretical, practical, as well as soft skills.
