Since its implementation at HdWM in 2015, the Erasmus+ programme has served as a cornerstone of the university’s internationalisation strategy. Participation in mobility activities has shown a steady and sustained increase among students, academic staff, and administrative personnel—an outcome we consider a major success. Students now more clearly recognise the linguistic and intercultural benefits of studying abroad, appreciating both its immediate academic value and its long-term impact on career development. Similarly, staff members are increasingly aware of the professional enrichment the programme offers, whether in academic or administrative roles. Applications for participation have already been submitted for both the current and upcoming academic years. Our strategic objectives remain aligned with those of previous years: the formalisation and institutionalisation of existing professional networks across the university sector, the facilitation of student mobility through financial support and streamlined administrative processes, the promotion of sustained engagement between staff and international partners in academic and administrative domains, the provision of opportunities for staff to gain insights into teaching methodologies, research practices, and institutional structures at partner universities, the fostering of a shared European identity among staff members
