Internationality plays a vital role at WHU. The exchange semester is an integral part of both the Bachelor program and the Master program (120 ECTS track, which most of our Master students pursue). This integrated exchange semester is designed to deepen and broaden the knowledge acquired at WHU. In addition, students have the opportunity to experience different cultures and gain insights into the economies of other countries. The main focus of the project was student mobility. Thanks to the mandatory exchange semester, WHU has built a strong international network, and our students show great interest in exchanges within Europe. A key objective of the project was to maintain and further develop digitalization measures supporting student mobility. Overall, the number of students at WHU continues to grow, resulting in more students going abroad. In line with WHU’s internationalization strategy, our aim is to further increase the number of students we send abroad within Europe in the coming years. Additionally, it was our goal to maintain funding opportunities to include students within the Erasmus+ International Dimension. In the completed KA131 project, we successfully funded 164 students, 17 of whom participated in the Erasmus+ International Dimension.
