Objectives

The project aimed to enhance NGO NEST Berlin educators' skills in promoting social inclusion for disadvantaged migrants, particularly those affected by crises, through art-based education. It sought to build competencies in engaging migrants with creative activities, fostering community participation, and expanding knowledge on urban regeneration and circular economy to support future migrant integration and job skills development.

Background

NGO NEST Berlin promotes social inclusion, employability, and education for disadvantaged groups, like youth, people with disabilities, and migrants with limited access to resources. The IntegrArt project addressed NEST’s outreach gap with adult migrants, using Upcycled Art and Street Art to foster inclusion and sustainability. IntegrArt helped NEST improve its skills in engaging migrant adults, promoting community belonging, and advancing awareness of urban regeneration and circular economy.
