Objectives

The project aimed to empower participants with essential digital literacy skills by offering both the knowledge and opportunities necessary to use digital technologies responsibly and effectively. Its primary goal was to enhance participants' digital readiness, resilience, and capacity by focusing on skills development, practical applications in real-world settings, and providing exposure to various ICT tools. Moreover, the project also supported professional development for teachers, helping them integrate technology into their teaching methods. In addition, it sought to raise awareness among participants about the risks associated with cybercrime and the ethical use of technology, ensuring they were well-equipped to navigate the digital landscape safely and responsibly.

Background

We applied for this project because, in the 21st century, digital literacy is a key factor. For students to excel academically, they must be proficient in using technology, while teachers must have the necessary skills to effectively integrate technology into their lessons. It is also crucial for the future workforce, as many jobs already require basic digital skills, a trend that is expected to grow. With the rise of digital services, digital literacy is also vital for active participation in society. Furthermore, youth members need to be able to use digital tools and platforms to plan and implement their activities. By applying the knowledge and skills gained, this project hada positive impact on the partners involved and better prepare everyone for the future. As a result, we believed that this project was essential for equipping students, teachers, and youth association members with the necessary skills and knowledge.
