The aim was to raise awareness of the topic of peace among young people. They were to be brought together from different national and social backgrounds to explore the topic together and, using the chosen art form of theater, present their findings live to audiences in the respective cities. At the same time, recordings were made to allow for wider audience participation. Bringing European young people together to strengthen their confidence in dealing with conflicts and to find solutions was a key goal.
The motivation was to bring young people from different European countries together to creatively explore a European topic that concerns both young people and older generations. The collaboration was to be barrier-free, and language aspects were not to limit collaborative work. The topic of peace in Europe and the world was developed as a central theme together with all project partners, and the representatives from the three countries (France, Spain, and Germany) decided to jointly develop a play to present the results on stage to a wider audience. Art forms were chosen that could convey content multilingually or non-verbally. In addition to the respective native languages, English served as the common language.
