The primary goal of the mobility activities was to empower youth workers with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively engage young people, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, in a wide range of areas such as digital inclusion, social inclusion, environmental sustainability, leadership, and intercultural dialogue. The specific objectives of the mobility activities and accreditation included: Digital Inclusion: Addressing the digital divide by equipping youth workers with the competences needed to help young people, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, gain access to and use digital tools. The aim was to improve their digital literacy, which is crucial for accessing education, employment opportunities, and social participation in today’s digital world. Social Inclusion and Human Rights Advocacy: Fostering social inclusion by empowering youth workers to design and implement programs that target marginalized groups, such as migrants, LGBTQ+ youth, and economically disadvantaged individuals. The goal was to help youth workers develop the skills to advocate for human rights and reduce discrimination, promoting tolerance, equality, and freedom. Environmental Sustainability: Raising awareness of environmental issues such as climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss, and helping youth workers lead projects focused on sustainability. The objective was to engage young people in environmental conservation activities and teach them about the importance of protecting the environment for future generations. Leadership and Youth Empowerment: Strengthening the leadership and entrepreneurial skills of youth workers, enabling them to mentor and support young people in becoming leaders in their communities. The goal was to reduce youth unemployment and encourage entrepreneurship as a way to create opportunities for young people. Intercultural Cooperation and Exchange: Promoting intercultural understanding and cooperation through cultural exchanges. The objective was to encourage youth workers to integrate intercultural competence into their youth work, fostering tolerance, respect, and collaboration among young people from different cultural backgrounds. These objectives were aligned with COPERNICUS’ Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation, which focused on addressing social challenges, fostering digital inclusion, promoting environmental sustainability, and empowering young people through non-formal education.
