Objectives

The project aimed to empower young people through structured learning, focusing on open youth work, urban youth culture, artistic opportunities, and human rights education. Additionally, professional development activities were introduced for youth workers, enabling them to co-create and refine innovative methodologies for future open youth work (OYW) initiatives. Project Objectives: 1) Empowerment through Human Rights Education and Music: Engaging young participants in exploring human rights and European values through music, fostering critical thinking on societal issues and promoting inclusivity. 2) Advancement of Youth Work Practices: Through professional development activities, the project aimed to enhance youth workers’ skills and create sustainable pathways within Erasmus+ programs, fostering long-term growth in youth work. 3) Promotion of Urban Youth Culture and Recreational Activities: The project offered various recreational activities, including music, sports, and arts, particularly for youth with fewer opportunities, helping them build self-esteem, acquire new skills, and boost confidence. Non-formal education methods and group activities played a central role in achieving these objectives, fostering cultural awareness, social skills, and a deeper understanding of human rights and European values. The project featured a series of activities conducted in various locations: - A1. Preparatory Visit (APV) for A2: “Music for Human Rights I” – Venue: Berlin This preparatory visit brought together representatives from all partner organizations to coordinate the planning, implementation, and follow-up of the “Music for Human Rights” project. The meeting refined operational strategies, enhancing support for participant groups and optimizing project outcomes. - A2 & A3. Youth Exchanges: “Music for Human Rights I & II” – Venue: Berlin Participants composed original songs to address human rights themes identified during the exchanges. Using non-formal education methods, they collaboratively analyzed, discussed, and reflected on these topics. - A4. Professionals exchanged insights on youth work methodologies, strengthening networks and training opportunities. - A9. Youth Exchange: “Nature in Frame” – Venue: Berlin Through photography, participants explored environmental themes related to the interplay between urban and natural spaces. - A10.
