The primary goal of the project was to contribute to the social-ecological transformation by fostering international cooperation and ensuring that young people from different countries and backgrounds could actively shape this process together. Recognizing that the challenges of such a transformation require diverse perspectives, the project sought to provide an international outlook on various social, environmental, and economic issues. A key objective of the project was to establish a long-term collaboration among youth organizations, enabling them to share knowledge, experiences, and best practices. This cooperation was not only intended to strengthen the internal network but also to serve as a foundation for developing materials and resources that could be disseminated more widely. These resources could then be used by other youth organizations to enhance their own youth work and further promote international cooperation. In addition, the project aimed to solidify and expand the existing network of youth organizations by offering continuity in international activities. By consistently organizing and participating in transnational encounters, the project created spaces for young people to engage in cross-border dialogue and fostered a sense of global solidarity. These encounters allowed participants to experience different cultures, viewpoints, and approaches to addressing shared challenges, thereby strengthening their commitment to international cooperation. A central focus of the project was on creating safe spaces where young people could come together, exchange ideas, and engage in meaningful discussions. These spaces were designed to be inclusive, allowing participants to freely express their thoughts and concerns. By fostering such an environment, the project encouraged young people to develop into active, engaged members of society who are equipped to contribute to the social-ecological transformation. The aim was to provide them with the tools and confidence they need to take on leadership roles within their communities and beyond. The project also placed a strong emphasis on training and qualifying youth leaders, or "teamer*innen." By enhancing the skills and competencies of these leaders, the project aimed to raise the standards of international youth projects. Well-trained youth leaders play a crucial role as multipliers, as they influence their peer groups and can effectively spread the ideas and values learned during the project to a wider audience. By equipping them with the necessary skills, the project ensured that its impact would extend far beyond the immediate participants, reaching young people in various communities through the work of these leaders. Another important objective of the project was to promote the social, personal, and professional development of young people. Through non-formal education methods, participants were encouraged to develop a range of competencies that would help them both in their personal lives and in their future careers. These methods were designed to foster critical thinking, communication skills, and teamwork, while also encouraging a sense of responsibility towards societal and environmental issues. The ultimate goal was to empower young people to become active citizens who are capable of contributing to the common good. In a nutshell: The project aimed to contribute to the social-ecological transformation by empowering young people to take an active role in shaping a more sustainable and just future. The long-term vision was to ensure that the outcomes of the project would have a lasting impact, both within the network and beyond, by providing youth organizations with the tools and resources they need to continue promoting international cooperation and youth empowerment.
