A5: The project aimed to strengthen youth resilience by fostering the exchange between educators and youth workers with professional expertise in psychotherapy from Ukraine and Germany. It focused on developing strategies to address the mental health impacts of Russia’s war against Ukraine, political polarization, and the COVID-19 pandemic, enhancing youth support practices through non-formal education and intercultural dialogue. A7: Learn more about strategies of action in dealing with disinformation, such as current social + political discourses on the topic in European countries and best-practice approaches and methods for strengthening media literacy competences of young people; Transfer the experienced and learned content to society: identify European challenges + develop common strategies for action; Analise challenges for youth work; Build up good practice examples: learn from participants and local organizations as well as from experts in this field. A8: Establish a working relationship with our colleagues from Monte Sole (Italy) and Lidice (Czechia) to organise a youth exchange with young people from all three countries. Getting to know each other and finding a common ground for historical-political education. Exchanging knowledge on contents, methodology and country specific issues and approaches to remembrance culture and historical continuities in the European context. A9: Our training course aimed to enhance critical thinking and media literacy skills among youth leaders from Ukraine and Germany, teaching them to distinguish reliable information from misinformation and develop responsible media consumption habits. The main objective was to create informed digital citizens who can effectively fact-check information and positively influence their communities. A10: The project aimed to empower female youth workers by deepening their understanding of women’s roles in both WWII and the current Russian war against Ukraine. Its objectives were to explore feminism, gender studies, and human rights in times of war; to give voice to underrepresented historical and contemporary female experiences; to foster intercultural dialogue among Ukrainian and German participants and to encourage creative expression through storytelling. A12+A13: The youth exchange was designed in close partnership with our partner organisations, that are also part of the European “Network of Inclusion”, that we joined in January 2024. The main aim of the network is to improve the conditions for involving (highly) vulnerable young people in Erasmus+ activities, working together on protocols regarding quality standards and safeguarding, among others. Being part of this network and co-creating mobilities with like-minded organisations from all across Europe has been helping us a lot to advance in several of our accreditation objectives.
