Our project, "Makers Gonna Make," aimed to blend the maker movement with technology and creativity, with a focus on empowering young people. Our project aimed to empower young people to discover their creative potential, improve essential skills, and contribute positively to both local and global communities through active participation in the maker movement. The following includes our specific objectives: To raise awareness about the maker movement: We introduced young people to the maker movement's values, emphasizing hands-on creation and innovation. To develop hand skills: We aimed to improve young participants' manual dexterity through engaging activities. To show that young people can create: By demonstrating that young individuals can make items they use daily, we encouraged self-sufficiency. To promote production over consumption: Our goal was to shift young minds from passive consumption to active production. To prepare project drafts: We created educational materials to spread knowledge about the maker movement and creativity. To highlight the joy of creation: We emphasized the satisfaction derived from being productive and useful. To build international friendships: Through collaboration, we encouraged understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures. To raise awareness in local communities: We motivated them to have a dialogue about the importance of feeding creativity and productivity from a young age.
