Objectives

The understanding of continuous consumption, which has increased in today's youth and in recent years, has turned into an act of consuming only by purchasing ready-made products, rather than a behavior based on first producing and then consuming as in the past. This situation negatively affects young people and reduces their creativity, original thoughts, manual skills and entrepreneurship; because young people prefer food and goods that others have prepared and produced for them, instead of producing the products they will consume. For this reason, they are lacking in using their creative aspects and manual skills. With the ease provided by the internet and technology, young people are now ready for even their smallest needs, so they do not have the competence to create their own products in case of need, and their dependence on their environment increases. Young people, who have weakened in terms of their ability to produce solutions according to their own needs and problems, need to gain awareness and raise awareness on this issue. For these reasons, we were planning this project to increase the awareness of young people and to contribute to their growth as individuals who can encourage production and meet their own needs, develop their entrepreneurial aspects, are aware of their talents and use their creativity. The general aim of the project was to increase the ability of young people who are accustomed to consuming and ready-made products to find solutions to the problems they can solve themselves in their lives, and to enable them to become producers by getting rid of preparation. Specific goals set to achieve the main goal: 1-To increase the motivation of young people that they can do what they need in their daily lives. 2-To show young people that they can actually make many materials they use in their daily lives. 3-To develop the original thinking and creativity of young people. 4-To make young people adopt the concept of produce and consume instead of the concept of consume. 5- To teach young people what can be done with waste materials.
