The rising youth unemployment rate in the European Union has made youth employment a priority for the European Commission. The current job market in European countries faced various challenges, even when many job vacancies were available, because young people had limited skills for these jobs. The phenomenon of education-job imbalances was widespread in the youth sector. This led to the youth unemployment rate in the EU rising above 15%. Issues such as the lack of competence among young people to enter the job market were deeply rooted, often hindered by their limited language proficiency. Young people were not taught to communicate in the community, and they had only limited knowledge of how to present themselves in a job interview and create a well-prepared resume. As a result, most young people nowadays could not conduct a successful job interview. The so-called "lost generation" was represented by many young citizens struggling to develop the necessary skills and experiences. This resulted from the low level of key competencies such as personal, social, and learning skills, as well as entrepreneurial skills, which were replaced by increased theoretical preparation at the expense of a practical education approach, both by young people and the job market. Another cause of high youth unemployment was limited knowledge of personal branding (pitch), leading to limited opportunities for self-marketing and creating a strong personal brand. The goals of the project that we wanted to achieve by the end of the project were: 1. Increase key competencies for accessing the job market among the 40 participants from DE, IT, PL, FR, and TR. 2. Develop entrepreneurial skills for the 37 young participants from the aforementioned five countries. 3. Increase the capacities of partner organizations for planning, organizing, and implementing a KA1 youth exchange tailored to the new realities of the job market.
