The project aimed to empower young people to take active roles in their learning process, connecting with nature, and raising awareness about sustainability. Through various activities, including competence-based reflections and group work, participants learned to take responsibility for their own learning while having fun. Key nature-related experiences included visits to Frisian islands and local forests, fostering a deeper connection to the environment. Sustainability discussions were enriched by using the Greendex app to calculate carbon footprints, leading participants to commit to sustainable challenges. The project also focused on better dissemination of results, producing social media content and posters shared across partner organizations.
