Social inclusion is a significant issue of our time that manifests in all aspects of life. Young people experience it in their communities, educational institutions, workplaces, and especially on social media platforms. The latter example is particularly on the rise, with people increasingly using social media in all facets of life and experiencing discrimination on various grounds. People tend to speak more freely on social media than face-to-face, perhaps unaware of how hurtful it can be for certain groups. For this reason, we have conceived and implemented this project to raise awareness among young people through informal methods, various interactive workshops, and discussions. Our aim is to understand how we can proactively influence and prevent social exclusion across all aspects of life. Our objectives were to educate participants on how they can engage in the democratic life of Europe, how to stay informed, and how to think critically. We aimed to teach them how young people can initiate efforts to include and understand those with fewer opportunities, encouraging them to be actively and equally involved in social communities and public life. Additionally, we raised awareness among participants about the opportunities provided by the Erasmus+ program and non-formal education.
