Objectives

The primary aim of the Green and Social Entrepreneurship (GSE) project is to support the development of young people, particularly those in rural areas, by fostering their entrepreneurial, sustainability, and innovation skills. By implementing this project, we seek to address several key objectives that are critical to the holistic development of young individuals and the sustainable growth of rural communities. 1. Supporting Personal, Social, and Educational Development: We aim to empower young people by enhancing their personal, social, and educational development. This is achieved through activities that promote skills in entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable development. 2. Fostering Social Inclusion: The project seeks to provide opportunities for young people to connect with others, build positive relationships, and develop a sense of belonging and identity. By doing so, we aim to combat social exclusion and promote equal opportunities. 3. Encouraging Intercultural Dialogue: One of our key objectives is to foster intercultural understanding and competence among participants. This is facilitated by bringing together young people from diverse backgrounds to share experiences and learn from each other. 4. Building Partnerships and Networks: We aim to strengthen partnerships between young people and participating organizations, fostering collaboration and the creation of new and future partnerships. This network will support the dissemination of project outcomes and sustainable development goals. The project also focuses on raising awareness about the potential of green and social entrepreneurship to contribute to the sustainable development of rural communities. Through various campaigns, events, and awareness-raising activities, we aim to promote the creation of social enterprises that address local environmental, social, and cultural challenges. These efforts are designed to engage the community and foster a collaborative spirit, encouraging individuals to think creatively and sustainably about solving local issues. By providing young people in rural areas with the necessary skills and knowledge, we aim to enable them to start and run successful social businesses that have a positive impact on their communities. This involves offering training programs, workshops, and mentorship opportunities that cover a range of topics, from business planning and financial management to environmental sustainability and social innovation. We believe that by equipping young people with these tools, we can empower them to become leaders and change-makers in their communities. This initiative aligns with the broader goals of the Erasmus programme, which seeks to develop key competencies among young people, promote social inclusion, and encourage cross-cultural learning and collaboration. Through the GSE project, we aim to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of different cultures and perspectives, thereby enhancing the social fabric of rural areas and promoting a more inclusive and cohesive society. Ultimately, the GSE project strives to create a future where rural areas are not left behind, and young people can actively shape their futures and contribute to the sustainable development of their communities and beyond. By leveraging the power of green and social entrepreneurship, we aim to build resilient, vibrant, and sustainable rural communities that are capable of facing future challenges and seizing new opportunities. This vision includes not only economic growth but also environmental stewardship and social well-being, ensuring that rural areas remain dynamic and thriving for generations to come.
