Objectives

Mental health issues have slowly been getting the acknowledgment they deserve and require. But it is still not popular enough to lessen the burden on the youth. People are not educated about psychological problems caused by different reasons, especially in the youth, that could potentially traumatize or endanger the young ones. There are many stereotypes swirling around the topic that show the problem in a negative light, which is not an acceptable approach towards such an issue. Such views about youth with mental issues discourage the youth to come out and be honest about their problems, which, in turn, burdens them more and worsens their situation. The goal of our project was to support the youth suffering from mental disorders and encourage them to make positive changes for themselves and for others from their communities. The objectives of the project: To raise awareness about mental disorders and illnesses among youth. To give the participants knowledge, tools, and instruments through which they will overcome the mental challenges independently. Creating safe spaces for young people who suffer from depression, anxiety, and mental disorders. Exchanging cultural views and opinions, and experiencing each other's perspective. Through the successful implementation of our Erasmus Plus KA152 project, we achieved significant progress in addressing mental health issues among youth. Our project effectively raised awareness about psychological problems, providing the necessary education and support to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health. We have empowered young people to acknowledge and address their mental health challenges without fear or hesitation. We successfully raised awareness about mental disorders and illnesses among youth, reaching a broad audience and educating them on the importance of mental health. Participants gained valuable knowledge, tools, and instruments that empowered them to independently overcome mental challenges, fostering resilience and self-reliance. We established safe spaces where young people suffering from depression, anxiety, and other mental disorders could find support and solidarity, significantly improving their well-being. The project facilitated the exchange of cultural views and opinions, allowing participants to experience diverse perspectives and build a more inclusive and empathetic community. The positive feedback from participants and the measurable improvements in their mental health demonstrate the success of our project. We are proud to have made a meaningful impact on the lives of young people, encouraging them to make positive changes for themselves and their communities.
