Objectives

We organized a youth exchange for youth workers and young people with fewer opportunities from environmental organizations. These participants learned how to be eco-photographers and how to create and design flyers, brochures, and booklets for their organizations. The project included partners from Armenia, Germany, Turkey, Romania, and Georgia. The aim of the project was to raise awareness among youth workers and young people with fewer opportunities about environmental issues and photography skills. Throughout the project, participants enhanced their knowledge of environmental issues and honed their photography skills. The first half of the project focused on learning: participants acquired knowledge and skills about environmental issues and photography. The second half involved the practical implementation of this learning, where participants created environmental brochures and flyers. These materials, which were mostly graphic and focused on photography, highlighted the main environmental problems in the world. The brochures and flyers were prepared using photos and materials produced during the youth exchange. The objectives of the project were: To improve participants' skills in photography and design for creating effective promotional materials. To enhance participants' knowledge in expressing environmental problems creatively and effectively. To develop participants' working methods in environmental organizations by highlighting significant environmental issues. To provide participants with basic skills on starting an effective campaign using photography. To impart basic knowledge about European projects under the Erasmus+ framework on this topic. During the project, we covered topics such as environmental problems in different countries, European institutions working on environmental issues, historical photos, self-expression through photography, techniques for taking good nature photos, and online resources for quality photography.
