Our project aimed to raise consciousness among participants about the drying up of islands as a result of climate change. We wanted to implement tools that would allow participants to act more consciously in their region after returning from the project.Our objective was to expand the resource of knowledge and human capital. Through a substantive programme and practical activities, participants acquired new or improved their existing skills in teamwork, speaking up, noticing correlations, and cause-and-effect sequences occurring in the ecology-society relationship. Objectives: - drawing attention to the global warming impact on the island’s community; disappearing of islands; - increasing awareness of Island’s contamination caused by European countries throwing out their waste to the islands; - promoting the local cultural heritage of island’s population taking into account the impact of the mentioned problem on the cultural identity of the inhabitants; - developing skills/competences to work with social media and create awareness campaign to draw attention to the problem of vanishing islands and global warming
