The “City Bound Europe – Destination Europe” project consisted of five international youth exchanges held in Germany, the Czech Republic, Greece and Poland. These exchanges continued the work of the City Bound Europe Network, which has been connecting young people across Europe since 2011. The main goals of the project were: • To strengthen young people's belief in the idea of a united Europe, promoting values such as tolerance, inclusion, and mutual understanding. By encouraging direct, personal interactions, the project aimed to prevent youth radicalization and foster informed opinions through real-life experiences. • To support the personal development of young people from various European countries, helping them transition from adolescence to adulthood by enhancing their social and civic skills and preparing them to thrive in multicultural environments. • To inspire creativity and unlock participants’ potential by offering innovative, non-formal learning opportunities, particularly through adventure-based education. To achieve these objectives, the network organizes diverse activities across member countries in Europe. During the week-long City Bound Youth Exchanges, participants aged 13–17 engage in collaborative, non-formal learning experiences that allow them to truly explore and understand the meaning of a united Europe.
