Objectives

This project aims to combat racism by promoting mutual understanding and solidarity through cooking. It emphasizes the importance of getting to know others' cultures, religions, and customs to overcome ignorance, prejudices, fear, and exclusion. The project will involve 48 young participants who will cook together for eight days, exchange traditional recipes, and share best practices on cross-cultural diversity and ways to fight racism. The activities will be carried out through non-formal education methods, emphasizing learning by doing and nonverbal communication to pass language barriers. At the end of the exchange, the participants will prepare a dinner for local partners and families, and video clips will be taken to allow other organizations to benefit from the experience. The project aims to create a discussion forum on culinary exchanges and promote intercultural understanding beyond its lifetime.
