During the 7-day project 'Unlocking Youth Potential,' we increased the entrepreneurial spirit of young people and enhance their understanding of entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship concepts. Additionally, we supported participants' competency development and fostered new partnerships among youth organizations interested in addressing entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship with young people. To address these needs, motivations, and ideas, we focused on the following objectives during the project: - Raised the understanding of young people on the concepts of entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship. - Increased the entrepreneurial mindset of young people. - Explored the link between social entrepreneurship and community involvement. - Provided young people with competency development and intercultural learning. - Addressed issues related to entrepreneurial competencies, particularly building resilience by helping young people develop problem-solving skills and encouraging them to consider their role in the community and connections with peers. - Equipped young people with information on programs and activities that could be possibilities for them to develop new competencies. We addressed these objectives during a 7-day international mobility event in Çeşme, İzmir, Türkiye that connected young people from different countries and backgrounds. In addition to exploring entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship topics, we made this event as an important opportunity for young people to develop their intercultural competencies or explore the concept of non-formal education.
