The project “Media / 99.9% of what's happening / isn't on the news” was developed out of the need to increase the capacities of organisations in the digitalization of youth work, but at the same time to support the target groups of the organisations involved, who are people with fewer opportunities. This project equipped youth workers and educators with free and easily accessible tools and applications that can serve to develop skills and competences, and improve the youth work and the work of the organisations in general. The objectives of the project were: - to empower youth workers to develop their digital skills, to present and explore popular applications and digital tools - to stimulate creativity and productivity of the youth workers, and indirectly, of young people - to foster digital literacy and employability by developing skills and competencies according to the Quality Employment for All Quality Learning in the European Youth Goals - to improve the quality of future youth work and contribute to the European Year of Skills Specific objective: - to learn easily accessible and free digital tools and applications that will help the inclusion and development of young people with fewer opportunities (youth from poor and rural areas, migrants, refugees, LGBTIQ+, Roma etc.)
