Our project, Boal and Beyond – Autopoietic Theatre for Youth Empowerment, aimed to enhance the skills of youth workers by introducing them to transformative theatre techniques, especially those rooted in Augusto Boal’s methodologies. The project objectives were: - To provide youth workers with the necessary competences to utilize transformative theatre approaches in their work - To collaboratively investigate and discover the potential of old and contemporary transformative theatre in addressing current challenges faced in youth work - To establish a network of youth workers who share a commitment to exchanging knowledge and exploring the tools of transformative theatre - To develop additional projects that utilize the knowledge gained from the training
