Objectives

The primary aim of implementing this Erasmus project was to foster partnerships between European mainland countries and overseas EU countries and territories to address critical challenges in environmental sustainability. With climate change presenting increasingly evident threats, the project sought to contribute to a sustainable and resilient future for all regions by promoting collaborative and innovative solutions tailored to the unique needs of each region. The key objectives of the project were as follows: - Establish and nurture enduring relationships between mainland European countries and overseas EU countries and territories to collaboratively address shared environmental challenges. - Facilitate the exchange of knowledge, best practices, and innovative ideas to create solutions that are adaptable to diverse environmental and cultural contexts. - Develop Erasmus projects specifically focused on environmental challenges faced by overseas territories, ensuring that the solutions are sustainable, inclusive, and impactful. - Provide opportunities for cultural exchange to promote a deeper appreciation of the diversity within the EU, enhancing mutual understanding and collaboration. By creating a platform for cooperation and dialogue, the project aimed to bridge the gap between EU member states and overseas territories. This inclusive approach can ultimately contribute to the development of more comprehensive and sustainable policies and practices, benefiting both regions while fostering a shared commitment to environmental sustainability and resilience.
