The EU Youth Strategy focuses on three main action areas: Participation, Connection, Empowerment. The EU Youth Strategy was created to contribute to the realization of this vision for young people. The most common challenges young people in Europe face are social exclusion and the integration of disadvantaged groups. The fact that young people need special assistance and support in their social participation and professional development processes makes it difficult for young people, especially those with low skills, living in disadvantaged areas, or with health problems or disabilities, to fully participate in society. In order for youth workers to make a positive contribution to the personal and social development of these young people, their pedagogical and psychological training needs to be strengthened. In order to meet these needs, the project aimed to increase the qualifications of youth workers and to develop their knowledge and skills so that they can work more effectively with disadvantaged young people. In addition, it is important to create multicultural learning environments and collaborations for the integration of young people from different cultural backgrounds, thus strengthening social cohesion and young people’s active citizenship skills. Therefore, this project aimed to contribute to the personal development of young people, their social participation and the integration of disadvantaged groups into society by improving the qualifications of youth workers. The project provided pedagogical and psychological training to youth workers so that they could cope with social exclusion and develop their skills in areas such as active citizenship and social adaptation. The specific objectives of our project are as follows: 1. To increase the pedagogical and psychological training of youth workers, thus contributing positively to the personal development of young people, 2. To promote the social participation and integration of disadvantaged young people, 3. To enable youth workers to share knowledge and experience with other youth workers in a multicultural environment, 4. To support the full participation of young people in social activities and community life, 5. To enable youth workers to develop their knowledge and skills in informal learning environments, 6. To increase the educational, social participation and social activity capacities of disadvantaged young people, 7. To provide youth workers with the opportunity to experience techniques and behavioural training methods appropriate to the rational, emotional and physical needs of young people, 8. To prepare the ground for young people to develop basic skills such as active citizenship, social participation and well-being by increasing the qualifications of youth workers, 9. To increase the quality of youth work by increasing cooperation between organisations and stakeholders in the field of youth. These objectives focus on the training of youth workers, in line with the main objectives of the Erasmus+ programme. This project has contributed to improving the quality of work on youth and youth workers, particularly through improved cooperation between organisations and other stakeholders in the youth field.
