Our project aimed to empower young people by enhancing their knowledge, skills, and motivation in the field of social entrepreneurship. We sought to equip participants with entrepreneurial competencies, enabling them to create innovative solutions for social challenges. Through non-formal education methods, we fostered employability, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, ensuring that young people are prepared for both entrepreneurial and non-entrepreneurial careers. A key objective was to strengthen collaboration between youth organizations across Europe, fostering a network for knowledge exchange and cooperation. The project also prioritized inclusion and diversity, actively engaging young people from different socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Additionally, we focused on raising awareness about the importance of social enterprises in addressing global challenges, such as unemployment and social exclusion. By creating a supportive learning environment, we enabled participants to develop their own social enterprise initiatives, ensuring a lasting impact beyond the project’s duration.
Our project was developed in response to the growing need for youth empowerment through social entrepreneurship. Across Europe, many young people face unemployment, lack access to entrepreneurial education, and struggle to find opportunities to contribute meaningfully to society. Recognizing this, we aimed to equip young people with entrepreneurial skills, leadership capabilities, and the motivation to create sustainable social enterprises. Additionally, our partner NGOs identified a critical gap in financial sustainability within the youth sector. Many youth organizations rely heavily on external funding, which limits their long-term impact. By promoting social entrepreneurship, our project provided young leaders with the tools to establish financially viable initiatives that address social and environmental challenges. Through this project, we aimed to foster inclusion and diversity, strengthen European cooperation, and create a sustainable network of young entrepreneurs who can drive positive change in their communities and beyond.
