Background

We applied for this project to enhance the capacity of our organizations in including young people with mental and physical disabilities in their activities. The project aimed to strengthen inclusion by tailoring activities to the needs of the target group and breaking down prejudices. Throughout the implementation, we successfully developed the skills of youth workers and educators, enabling them to create inclusive programs and foster meaningful interaction between disabled and non-disabled youth with our activities target groups. We addressed the lack of opportunities for young people with disabilities in our communities by actively involving them in high-quality youth activities. As a result, the project significantly contributed to more inclusive youth work practices and laid the groundwork for long-term engagement in Erasmus+ initiatives. We believe that the project had great impact on participating organizations, participants and stakeholders including target groups. Additionally, we effectively challenged prejudices and stereotypes about people with disabilities within our communities, fostering a more inclusive and accepting environment. The intellectual outputs had comprehensive impact on target groups.
