The intentions and the goals of our participation in the program were the following: With reference to our European Policy Statement, our participation in the Erasmus Plus Program aimed at stimulating a competence lift for the participants, and to supporting the participation of individuals who hitherto have experienced issues preventing them from internationalizing their either teaching/research or study program. Adding to this, the participation aimed at sustaining the existing collaboration with the existing partner network, and to create new connections, establishing closer ties between the Industry and the Academic Institutions in general. The participant group comprises all levels in our organization; students, staff, scholars and teaching staff, as well as Ph.d-students. As such, we have had no particular groups of participants as our focus, but have aimed at creating a true inclusive program at all levels. For the students, we have aimed at fostering cultural understanding in an international context, as well as exposing the students to academic content of quality, and/or providing internships with partners of the Industry in order to frame the academic profiles of the students in an industrial context with the aim of strengthening their employability. In particular, the students sent on Recent Graduate work-related periods with the Industrial partners has been a key aim of our participation. For our students of non-Danish background, this enables them to obtain skills and competences fx. in their home countries. For the Teaching Staff, the aim has been to expose the participants to academic centers of excellence as well as providing resources for their dissemination of their own teaching/research, with both institutional and industrial partners. As an important element, the Program possibilities to invite representatives from either Academi or the Industry has been an important element in both providing our students with knowledge and skills in an international setting as well as creating an element of internationalization-at-home for those students, who for various reasons have not had the possibilities to travel abroad. The participation in the Program has also aimed at providing possibilities for administrative staff to lift competences through visits with institutional and/or industrial partners.
