We seek to send students abroad for a semester on exchange; on one side to give students the possibility to gain knowledge in subjects, which are not offered at CBS, and on the other side to enhance their language proficiency; their intercultural understanding; their ability to study in an environment outside of their comfort zone; and to gain insight into a different academic culture and enhance their international outlook. We also seek to send students on traineeships abroad to enhance their skills and to be able to put theory learned in classes into practice in a real-life setting, and at the same time give them the possibility to enhance their language proficiency; their intercultural understanding; their ability to work in an environment outside of their comfort zone; and to gain insight into a different work culture and enhance their international outlook. Finally, the objective for CBS to send staff abroad on mobility, is to give staff members the possibility to have a peer-to-peer exchange of experience and best practice within the field of the given staff member, and to give teaching staff at CBS the possibility to teach within their field at another partner university, which can enhance their own competences as well.
