Objectives

Collaboration with European higher education institutions has been a consistent and strategic priority for University College Absalon throughout the project period, as articulated in our Erasmus Policy Statement. The institution places high value on strengthening regional partnerships and fostering international collaboration that contributes both to professional and personal development for students and staff alike. A central objective has been to ensure substantial intercultural and academic growth, with particular emphasis on promoting equal access, inclusion, and diversity. This aligns with our broader strategic goals of making learning mobility a reality for all, irrespective of background or prior international experience. To support these aims, our project has actively promoted student and staff mobility across Absalon’s programmes. We have placed special emphasis on including participants with fewer opportunities, and have evaluated the effect of these mobilities through structured post-mobility surveys and qualitative feedback sessions. Approximately 68% of all mobilities during the project period took place at institutions defined as close cooperation partners or within the Nordic region, in accordance with our EPS goals. This marks a slight decrease in development from the 2022 project, where 70% of mobilities occurred within these priority areas. The consistency and growth of these partnerships are key indicators of our long-term commitment to quality international collaboration under the Erasmus+ framework.
