Objectives

Main aim of the youth exchange ’Ecopreneurship for Sustainable Change’ was to empower young people to become future community leaders able to design innovative solutions to global problems through eco-entrepreneurship. To increase knowledge of young people on eco-entrepreneurship and encourage them to become future entrepreneurs addressing ecological issues. We believe that we reached our main aim together with set objectives: -To give participants a chance to make new partnerships and work on ideas for future projects that could be done with the help of the Erasmus+ Programme. Firstly, the participants learnt about Erasmus + Programme during preparatory meetings. Group leaders explained the programme, the structure and key elements including non-formal learning and YouthPass. During the youth exchange, the participants took part in session on Erasmus + Programme. They shared their knowledge and more experience participants their previous experiences. -To help participants and organisations better understand what eco-entrepreneurship is and what its key elements are; During the youth exchange the participants got to know what is eco-entrepreneurship and they learnt from the practices of the participants countries. They worked on ideas for projects addressing ecological issues in their communities. Based on feedback shared during final evaluation session and evaluation meetings with group leaders back home we can say that around 70% of the participants shared that after the youth exchange they have better understanding of eco-entrepreneurship, they know how eco-entrepreneurship works in the practice and they are motivated to be active in addressing ecological issues and challenges. -To help the participants learn more about social entrepreneurship and important parts of entrepreneurship, like design thinking; Participants increased their knowledge and learned for social entrepreneurship and its key values. -To promote the exchange of best practises and to raise the participants' desire to apply new knowledge into practice, and pave the way for them to create their own eco-enterprises; The participants got familiar with various examples of eco-entrepreneurship in practice. The teams prepared and delivered several interesting case studies based on eco-entrepreneurship. The participants analyzed these case studies and discussed how these ideas could be transferred in their communities. -To get the participants to tell their friends about what they learned during the youth exchange and to give them the tools they need to find new ways to solve environmental problems in their own communities and countries; The participants worked on media products (Video and Booklet) raising awareness on eco-entrepreneurship between young people. Main aim of these products was to raise knowledge of young people on the importance of sustainability and to make young people aware about their responsibility to contribute to solving ecological challenges. The participants worked on two main strategies: - Pay attention to ecology, - Giving people the tools they need to start their own businesses. This project was implemented using non-formal methodology and it was focused on Ecology and empowering young people to create their own businesses.
