“Let’s B-together to B-well” aimed to raise awareness of mental health issues and promote the well-being of youth. We all clearly see that lack of awareness about mental issues and not having access to the proper tools to handle these problems mostly create an unsafe and unequal environment for youth. We believe that having a proper and safe environment in the family, at school, and in the community could define youth's capacity to develop interpersonal skills to build their mental health properly. The project ensured that the youth were aware of their human rights, and had a proper understanding of human well-being. All partners agreed on the importance of this topic due to their organizational missions and the needs of the communities they serve. The project was and is important for all partners. e.g UngiAarhus ØST (Denmark): As a youth center working with youth from diverse social backgrounds, many of whom face fewer opportunities, UngiAarhus ØST recognized the critical need for mental health awareness. They believed that promoting mental well-being will help them in their daily work with their target group. Youth Center of Georgia (Georgia): This organization works with youth from various backgrounds, including refugees (IDPs) and those facing social, economic, and geographical obstacles. Addressing mental health was essential to their mission of promoting democracy, tolerance, and equality. They saw this project as a way to provide important support and tools to youth who might otherwise lack access to mental health resources. Patras Youth Club (Greece): With a focus on education, volunteering, and community integration, Patras Youth Club found the project's theme aligned perfectly with their goals. They aimed to help youth especially those from less privileged backgrounds, to gain the knowledge and skills needed to manage mental health issues and actively participate in their communities. Creative Youth (Armenia): They believed that by addressing mental health, they could better support the development of their members, helping them overcome barriers to creativity and innovation caused by mental health challenges. Their involvement was driven by the desire to foster a healthier, more supportive environment for youth. To raise awareness of various mental health issues in youth that cause social problems (marginalization, discrimination, bullying, and so on); Our goal was to increase awareness among young people about various mental health issues that can lead to social problems such as marginalization, discrimination, and bullying. We aimed to create a safe space for open discussions about mental health, helping participants understand the importance of mental well-being and how it affects their daily lives and interactions. We wanted to equip participants with practical tools and coping mechanisms to manage and combat negative attitudes towards mental health. We aimed to foster a culture of tolerance and inclusivity, encouraging participants to view mental health with empathy and understanding rather than prejudice and stigma. To break stereotypes about mental health issues, reduce prejudice, and promote a tolerant and inclusive society; We aimed to foster a culture of tolerance and inclusivity, encouraging participants to view mental health with empathy and understanding rather than prejudice and stigma. To encourage participants to recognize human rights (specifically to recognize the importance of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights); Our objective was to educate participants on the importance of human rights, particularly the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. To recognize the importance of healthy lifestyle habits and promote human well-being in youth; Recognizing the close link between physical and mental health, we aimed to promote healthy lifestyle habits among participants. Through daily sports activities, outdoor adventures, and mindful practices, we encouraged participants to adopt habits that contribute to their overall well-being. We wanted to inspire and motivate youth to become active citizens who contribute positively to their communities; and to take initiative in promoting well-being and mental health awareness. We hoped to spark their interest in further engagement with Erasmus+, opening doors to more learning and development opportunities in the future.
