The Coding4Win project aimed to empower women NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) by enhancing their digital literacy, coding skills, and ICT competencies. Recognizing the structural barriers that prevent this group from accessing adult education, the project set out to create flexible, inclusive learning pathways tailored to their needs. Key objectives included: Developing engaging educational resources through the Coding4Win Curriculum, Digital Learning Hub, and Serious Game, ensuring access to top digital skills sought by employers. Enhancing employability by equipping women NEETs with coding and ICT knowledge, fostering confidence and competence in digital work environments. Reducing the digital gender gap by encouraging active participation from women in technology-driven careers and lifelong learning. Strengthening adult educators' capacities, providing them with effective tools and methodologies to teach digital skills interactively. Raising awareness about the importance of digital upskilling, fostering policy discussions, and engaging local communities in supporting women NEETs' professional development.Through innovative, gamified learning approaches, the project aimed to boost digital inclusion, encourage
The Coding4Win project was developed in response to the growing digital divide affecting adult learners, particularly women NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training). The consortium identified key barriers preventing women NEETs from accessing adult education—such as limited digital literacy, social and economic obstacles, and a lack of tailored learning resources. Through extensive research and a situation analysis across partner countries, we discovered that women NEETs face structural inequalities in digital education and job market access, limiting their ability to re-enter the workforce. At the same time, adult educators lack sufficient tools and training to effectively engage this demographic in digital skills development. To tackle these challenges, the project proposed an inclusive, gamified, and flexible learning environment, incorporating: Coding4Win Curriculum tailored to high-demand digital skills, A Digital Learning Hub for accessible training, A Serious Game to introduce coding in an engaging way. By bridging the digital gender gap, the project aimed to enhance employment prospects, promote lifelong learning, and empower women through technology-driven education
