Estonian Business School's goal is to offer all our students and staff members international experience. First and foremost we aim to help the participants go abroad, either for long or short-term mobility (depending on what best suits their needs). Student goals Being in another cultural and educational environment helps to shape students' perspective on the world, learn to be more independent and outgoing, appreciate different societies and norms and learn to think more globally as well as be adaptable in a changing world. As a business university a lot relies on connections and networking as well as understanding global trends and directions. Mobility programmes are a perfect means to add to students' education and fill in those parts. We also learn and gain a lot from having incoming students through Erasmus+ programme from our partner institutions. Students from all over Europe (or even world) will study alongside our local students. This adds another dimension for their experience while not even leaving Estonia. By welcoming students from abroad we fill our goal of giving all our degree students some international experience and also motivate them to be more open to going abroad themselves. Staff goals For our staff member's the goal was to offer opportunity to participate in workshops, different types of training or get the experience of teaching in our partner institution. Giving them the room to go abroad helps to develop their personal goals but also institutional. As a result of mobilities, lecturers and supporting staff understand our multinational student body better. Lecturers have a clearer view of different educational systems and how to navigate them. They also gain inspiration and ideas how to make Estonian Business School's education better. Staff members make connections to invite visiting lecturers who can enrich the students' education here in Estonia, especially when they don't have a chance to go abroad themselves. As a higher education institution, our goal is to be international for the benefit of the society, as the gains for one person and the whole group are enormous, and Erasmus+ project is our biggest help for that.
