The main objective of this project was to support the professional development of youth workers through international mobility experiences. As the only professional community for youth work specialists in Estonia, the Estonian Association of Youth Workers (ENK) aimed to give more of its members the opportunity to participate in high-quality, non-formal learning experiences abroad. Through study visits and training activities across several countries (Malta, Portugal, Sweden, Czechia, and Estonia), the project enabled youth workers to learn from innovative practices, reflect on their own professional roles, and build lasting international partnerships. A key motivation was to promote inclusion, ethical competence, creativity, and critical thinking in youth work—topics that align with ENK’s national development focus. The project also addressed the need to make international learning more accessible to youth workers who had not previously participated in Erasmus+ projects. Each mobility was designed to provide added value through hands-on visits, exchange with practitioners, and follow-up reflection, thus ensuring long-term impact at both individual and organisational levels.
