The COVID-19 pandemic and the economic crisis that followed along with new international conflicts it has caused and led to increased youth unemployment and negative consequences such as inflation, depression, anxiety, and stress. Traditional job markets are not creating enough jobs for young people, so there is a need for social entrepreneurship to provide opportunities. One of the priorities of the Erasmus+ program is to promote innovation and entrepreneurship. This is achieved by supporting the development of new products or services, and by fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among individuals, organizations, and communities. By supporting innovation and entrepreneurship, the Erasmus+ program aims to help individuals and organizations to develop the skills and competences that are needed to succeed in a rapidly changing world, and to contribute to the development of new products, services, and business models that can drive economic growth and social progress. This is reason why we created project ‘Social Entrepreneurship for digital change’. With this project we want it to step up and be part of solution contributing to meeting Erasmus + objectives. The main motivation for running a youth exchange on social entrepreneurship for digital change is rooted in the growing recognition of the need to address social and environmental challenges in new and innovative ways, particularly in the age of digital technology. With the increasing prevalence of digital tools and platforms, we recognised a growing opportunity to leverage these resources to address social and environmental issues and create positive change. Furthermore, we developed project that supported young people in developing the skills, knowledge, and mindset needed to become effective social entrepreneurs who can use digital tools to drive change The project aim was to decrease youth unemployment and initiate positive social and digital changes through innovative social entrepreneurship solutions. The project's objectives included raising awareness, improving skills, increasing critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, motivating participants, and developing pilot projects to transfer social challenges into positive social changes in the community. The project will used non-formal education, experiential learning, and other creative methods to engage young people in initiating, implementing, and following up on activities and projects.
