Objectives

The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, especially during long periods of confinement that limited physical activity. This international youth exchange project aimed to address these challenges by bringing together young people from European and neighboring countries to explore the benefits of staying active and leading a healthy lifestyle. Through outdoor sports, practical workshops, and non-formal education, the project created a dynamic and supportive environment for learning, growth, and cultural exchange. The main objectives of the project were: - Promote physical activity: encourage young people to integrate regular physical activity into their daily lives and understand its impact on health and well-being. - Develop practical skills: teach survival skills, outdoor sports, and the importance of healthy eating through activities like cooking with slow food principles. - Foster cultural exchange: build positive attitudes toward different cultures and traditions while promoting European values. - Enhance personal growth: improve participants' communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, while also encouraging them to think creatively and share their experiences with their communities. - Create local impact: disseminate the project outcomes through impactful activities in each participating country, such as workshops, presentations, and campaigns. These activities raised awareness about healthy lifestyles, shared project experiences, and inspired local communities to adopt positive changes in their own health and leisure practices. By achieving these goals, the project empowered participants to make meaningful changes in their lives and communities, reinforcing the importance of health, well-being, and cultural understanding.
