Objectives

Through a combination of research, training, digital tools, and practical guides, the project aimed to equip both youth workers and the target group with the resources needed to address challenges related to integration, mental health, and access to education and the labour market. -Develop and pilot a structured training course for youth workers to support young migrants in literacy, cultural competences, and digital readiness. - Create a comprehensive Educational and Career Guide and a Practical Guide to Resilience tailored for the target group. - Deliver digital learning tools, including an e-learning platform and short learning pills, to promote accessible and flexible education. - Engage and empower both youth workers and young migrants through training, piloting, and multiplier events across partner countries.

Background

The project was initiated in response to the growing need for targeted support for young migrants and refugees with low or interrupted educational backgrounds. Across partner countries, it was identified that this group often faces significant barriers in accessing education, entering the labour market, and integrating into new society. These challenges include low language skills, cultural disorientation, digital exclusion, mental health difficulties, and a lack of career guidance. The project aimed to address these needs by developing practical tools for both youth workers and the young people themselves. By creating an educational package, an online platform, learning videos, a career guide, and a resilience toolkit, the project supports smoother integration, promotes mental well-being, and enhances the employability of young migrants and refugees. The application was therefore motivated by the shared recognition that accessible, inclusive, and innovative approaches were urgently needed to tackle these issues in a coordinated and sustainable way across Europe.
