Objectives

The InMediaL project aims to strengthen adults' media literacy and raise awareness about digital disinformation and its risks to democracy. It aims to empower adult learners, especially from vulnerable groups, to critically engage with media, recognize fake news and protect themselves online. By promoting active citizenship and informed decision-making, the project supports democratic participation and inclusion across Europe.

Background

The InMediaL project, led by EQUALINE, addresses the urgent need to improve media literacy among adults, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Through short-term mobilities to France and Poland, the project empowers participants aged 30–50 to critically assess digital content, recognize disinformation and actively engage in democratic society. It promotes EU values and inclusion.
