Background

Thessaloniki Pride, the leading LGBTI organisation in North Greece, has had a growing effect and outreach over the years in the field of educating people on the LGBTI topics. Yet, the milestone of undertaking the task to host EuroPride 2024 constitutes a major challenge for the organisation, as it is expected to deliver much more for a wider audience, with still limited material and human resources. Therefore Thessaloniki Pride needs to: - Develop a more effective management, organisational structure and workflow - Respond to an increased number of demands for adult education on LGBTI topics in a fast changing environment, in order to deal with the new conditions - Expand to new fields, where we used to have little involvement, notably to work more with marginalised, disadvantaged, under-served groups of the LGBTI community As the organisation has developed a European scope now, it has to learn from the practices of other European counterparts.
