Internationalization is one of the main long-term goals of the Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) which is implemented through the Office of Public and International Relations, and for this reason, a clear strategy has been formulated in this direction. With the implementation of the program, we aim to foster the spirit of cooperation in an international environment among both students and academic and administrative staff.Moving with the Erasmus programme is a particularly important opportunity for students, as it contributes substantially both to their academic course and to their personal development. Through study or internship in universities and organizations abroad, participants have the opportunity to improve their language skills, get acquainted with different educational systems and enhance their academic and professional profile. In addition, daily contact with new cultures fosters intercultural understanding and tolerance, while expanding their social and professional network. On a personal level, this experience enhances the autonomy, responsibility and adaptability of students, elements necessary for their future development. Finally, the financial support provided through the scholarship facilitates participation, making the Erasmus+ programme an experience with multidimensional and long-term benefits. Participation in mobility actions for academic and administrative staff will enhance the exchange of knowledge and good practices, improve professional development and promote the internationalization of institutions, while fostering intercultural understanding and cooperation at the European level.
