Objectives

Through the implementation of the Erasmus+ KA131 project, the University aimed to further its commitment to academic excellence, institutional internationalization, and the holistic development of its academic community. Recognizing the transformative potential of mobility programmes, the project was designed to strengthen strategic collaborations with European Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), while offering meaningful opportunities for both students and staff to engage in international academic environments. A key goal was to significantly increase the volume and quality of mobility flows, thereby promoting intercultural exchange, knowledge transfer, and the development of global competencies. For teaching staff, the project provided a platform to exchange innovative pedagogical approaches, participate in joint academic activities, and enrich their professional practice. This exchange of expertise contributes directly to the enhancement of curricula and teaching quality at our University. Administrative staff mobility was also prioritized, with the objective of fostering the exchange of effective management practices, improving institutional efficiency, and supporting the modernization of administrative structures in line with European standards. For students, the project aimed to create inclusive mobility opportunities that support academic development, intercultural awareness, and employability. By engaging with diverse learning environments and academic traditions, students gain valuable insights, soft skills, and international exposure, which are increasingly essential in today’s global job market. Ultimately, the project supports the University’s broader internationalization strategy by reinforcing its academic networks, enhancing institutional capacity, and fostering a culture of openness, cooperation, and continuous improvement.
