Objectives

The Internship Consortium of the Technical University of Crete consists of the three major institutions of the island of Crete—the Technical University of Crete, the University of Crete, and the Hellenic Mediterranean University (formerly TEI of Crete)—as well as the Chania Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Consortium was established with the primary aim, on the one hand, of meeting the steadily increasing demand from students to undertake an internship abroad within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, and on the other hand, of enhancing the visibility of its Partners and particularly highlighting the quality of their educational and research services, through the students who also act as ambassadors of these Institutions to the organizations and companies where they complete their internships. The Consortium’s goal is to provide students and recent graduates with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in internationalized environments and to improve and/or develop a variety of skills, such as interpersonal, linguistic, and digital skills.
