The primary objective of our institution under this KA131 project was to enhance the quality, quantity, and sustainability of student and staff mobility within the European Union, but not limited to, as several mobilities to countries from other regions took place. The project aimed to provide participants with enriching academic and professional experiences that would develop their competences, intercultural awareness, and adaptability in diverse international contexts. Additionally, these exchange aimed to achieve strategic goals that the Institution has set in its Strategic Planning. Our Institution sought to strengthen existing partnerships with EU institutions and build new collaborations and channels of communication aligned with Erasmus+ priorities with Other Institutions, research organisations and Enterprises. These collaborations aimed particularly in fostering inclusion, digitalisation, and lifelong learning as well as acquisition of professional, technical, cognitive and soft skills for all participants. During this project our Institution made significant efforts to increase the visibility and impact of mobility activities within the institution and beyond, ensuring that more students and staff could benefit from such exchanges. A key ambition was to deliver innovative mobility formats, notably through the organisation of two Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs). After incorporating past experience, along with improving procedures and correcting past mistakes, these BIPs (which integrated physical mobility with virtual collaboration), enabled deeper intercultural exchange, multidisciplinary learning, and higher participation rates. The success of these programmes — with 48 participants instead of the awarded 35 — demonstrated the strong demand for innovative and flexible mobility opportunities.
