Objectives

The Erasmus+ KA131 project under the 2023 Call supported the outward and inward mobility of students and staff of the Technical University of Crete with Programme Countries. As a long-standing participant in the Erasmus+ Programme, TUC aimed once again to: Strengthen the international dimension of its academic activities by promoting mobility as a key element of institutional development. Provide high-quality learning, teaching, and training opportunities to students and staff. Enhance cooperation with European partners through strategic mobility agreements and sustainable academic networks. Improve employability and professional skills of students through traineeship mobility. Promote digitalisation, inclusion, and environmental sustainability in line with the Erasmus+ priorities. Support the development of staff competencies through teaching and training periods abroad. The 2023 project built upon previous years' experience, focusing on expanding participation, widening access to underrepresented groups, and ensuring high-quality mobility management aligned with the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE). It significantly advanced the goals of the Technical University of Crete in fostering a dynamic, internationally oriented academic environment. The project successfully supported a diverse cohort of students and staff, strengthened partnerships across Europe, and contributed to academic excellence, innovation, and cultural exchange. The implementation was efficient, inclusive, and aligned with Erasmus+ priorities, achieving high levels of satisfaction and institutional impact. The university remains committed to further expanding mobility opportunities and enhancing the overall quality and reach of its internationalisation activities.
