By implementing the project Model4You(r)Part: Engagement Model for Smart Youth Participation Approach, we aimed to significantly enhance youth participation in democratic life and policymaking processes at local, national, and European levels. The core ambition was to empower young people as active citizens capable of influencing decisions that affect their lives, while also equipping youth organizations and policymakers with tools and insights to better engage youth. The objectives of the project were: -To increase the capacity of youth stakeholders, including youth workers, decision-makers, and institutions, to support effective youth participation. -To foster structured dialogue between young people and policymakers through well-designed participatory events. -To empower young individuals to become informed change-makers by providing them with knowledge about European youth policies, democratic values, and digital governance. -To enhance awareness and implementation of the EU Youth Goals, particularly Youth Goal #9: Space and Participation for All. -To build a transnational model of youth participation based on non-formal learning methodologies and peer-led civic engagement initiatives. Through this project, we sought to create a replicable framework that strengthened youth engagement mechanisms and ensured that young voices were integrated meaningfully into public discourse and decision-making.
