The main aim of this DiscoverEU program was to promote the EU citizenship and encourage young people (18 years old) to discover new cultures, people, and places within the EU. The program aimed to address the issue of limited opportunities for young people from disadvantaged and marginalized backgrounds to travel and explore the EU. The objectives of the project werer to: -Provide free travel opportunities for young people 18 years old within the EU -Promote EU citizenship and cultural understanding among young people -Increase access to travel and exploration opportunities for young people from disadvantaged and marginalized backgrounds The expected benefits of the program included: -Increased understanding and appreciation of EU culture and diversity among young people -Improved intercultural communication and understanding among young people -Increased opportunities for personal and professional development for young people from disadvantaged and marginalized backgrounds -Improved capacity of participating organizations to provide targeted outreach and support for young people with fewer opportunities.
