Objectives

With the participation in this project we seek to improve the knowledge of our students in foreign languages. Nowadays this is essential because, due to globalization, companies are looking for good professionals who also know languages. Another objective is to improve their professional skills, another fundamental aspect to which the project contributes, since they carry out internships in companies performing functions according to their professional profile, which improves their professional competence and give it an international dimension. A third objective is to increase the European professional network of our institution, something that we will achieve thanks to all the host partners with whom we will collaborate through the Project. We also seek to improve the methodology related to the bilingualism plan and with this project we will be able to train staff in this type of methodologies and to implement the learning results in the teachings methods of our institution.

Background

We apply for this project because we think it is a unique opportunity for our institution, its professionals and its students. We have carried out a SWOT analysis and reached the conclusion that vocational education students have a low level of languages and is complicated for them to find a job, so we need to improve both factors. In addition, we have just started bilingual teaching plan in vocational education and we need to improve our knowledge of methodology in this type of teaching. We are also expanding our way in Europe and we need to increase our relationships with other European partners. This project can respond to the indicated needs and make us improve in all these aspects. It will also contribute, at a high level, improving our institution challenges as it will help us achieve our inclusion and diversity challenges, participation in democratic life, digital transformation and responsible and sustainable practices.
