The most important needs and challenges our organization faces are focused on ensuring that our vocational training students access quality educational and job opportunities, acquire an international dimension, and establish vocational training as a pathway with a future and a life project for the students.
San Martín de Valdeiglesias is located in a rural area in the southwest of Madrid, far from the capital. An important social issue is the unemployment rate, which directly affects the local per capita income. This fact means that many people do not have many opportunities to leave. Many have not traveled beyond Madrid or even outside the town. Our young people have the same concerns. We are the only center in the town and must attend to the diversity that surrounds us.
